Textile Color
Textile Color is ideal for use on multiple fabrics, even on garments that have not been pre-washed (although pre-washing is recommended as not all manufacturers use the same type of sizing). In addition, it does not require ironing; it is sufficient to allow the colors applied to the garment to dry for 48 hours to achieve optimal fixation on the fabric. Wash on a short cycle with cold water.
The creamy consistency of the colors is ideal for working with stencil techniques and also for screen printing processes. After shaking the bottle, apply with a brush, sponge, roller, etc.
Best results are obtained on natural fiber fabrics, such as cotton and linen, and on light-colored fabrics. For other types of fabrics, a test on non-visible parts is recommended to ensure that the desired results are obtained. For dark fabrics, it is advisable to use opaque or metallic colors and, in some cases, it may be necessary to apply several coats or a white base to achieve greater color intensity.
For airbrush application, Textile Color can be thinned with our Airbrush Thinner, mixing 2 parts Color to 1 part Thinner to achieve the proper consistency. Its optimal use would be in airbrushes with a nozzle diameter of 0.2 or 0.3 mm and the compressor pressure set to approximately 1 kg.
Textile Medium is the ideal product to extend and dilute the color without altering its adhesive properties. It can also be used as a varnish for added protection. Transfer Medium is perfect for transferring printed or photocopied images onto fabric.
